Pierre Forde
Founder
Pierre Forde is passionate about harnessing capital to drive change and the necessity of preserving our planet, Pierre has worked with sustainability-focused start-up companies across the Caribbean to craft their business structure and mission into compelling investment cases.
A Master of Laws in Corporate Governance from the University of Warwick underscores his commitment to transparency and legal precision. His technical investment expertise was developed as a money manager for high net worth clients within the OurInterest Financial Group, where he led the equities and infrastructure research and trading function for 5 years. His commitment to sustainability and continuing development is also evidenced by his Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK.
Pierre enjoys awkwardly dancing with his new born son and delighting friends and family with an array of gourmet dishes.
Ryan Harewood
Head of Business Development
Ryan is responsible for business relations across investment partners, projects and investors. Alongside a degree in accounting and an interest in technology, Ryan is passionate in driving the future of sustainable finance.
Highlighting his commitment to this vision, Ryan serves as a director for several technology and sustainability focused start-ups across the Caribbean and assists their development and fundraising journey through relationships and contacts garnered within the OurInterest Financial Group, where he led the Group’s communication and business development function for 5 years.
During weekends, Ryan enjoys beach activities including kayaking and scuba diving within the beautiful waters of the Caribbean.
Sandra Matthew
Advisor
Sandra previously worked as a Director of Operations for Gildan SRL, a billion dollar Canadian multinational company, recently named as one of the worlds most sustainably run companies.
Passionate about aiding the growth of others Sandra has worked with the British Development Division in the Caribbean and the Dependent Territories Regional Secretariat for 10 years, utilising her expertise in management and administration to assist the development and performance of diverse public sector initiatives. Her extensive network of relationships and entrepreneurial nature has also lead to her supporting multiple start up companies, acting as an invaluable resource of strategic advice and capital.
She holds a Masters In Business Administration (MBA) (UWI, Cave Hill) and Ba Business Studies (University of East London, UK).
When off from nation building, Sandra enjoys spending time with social activities among her friends and family, including yoga sessions. She also volunteers with several charitable groups, including the Rotary Club.
Pedro Forde
Advisor
Pedro is a veteran corporate banker and credit risk expert with nearly 40 years of experience across retail and corporate banking at one of the largest Caribbean based financial institutions. Most recently, he climbed to the level of Associate Director and oversaw structuring and risk management processes for complex credit facilities exceeding US$ 70 Million.
Pedro is both a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and Chartered Secretary (ACIS) and holds a MSc In Professional Accountancy, as well as a BSc in Applied Accounting.
He lends his expertise principally in the the risk assessment, deal structuring and governance protocols. In his spare time, Pedro is allegedly one of the best domino players in the region and an avid follower of West Indies cricket.
